TPD say alcohol had a role in fatal crash over the weekend

Tallahassee, FL – Tallahassee Police say alcohol was a factor in this weekend's fatal crash on West Tharpe Street. Tom Flanigan reports one of the drivers in the two-car collision had a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit.

Many turn up for Halloween Chili Cook-Off for Charity

Tallahassee, FL – There was a chili contest for good causes in Tallahassee on Halloween. Tom Flanigan reports the yearly happening attracted lots of hungry samplers.

TPD arrest four in suspicious death of taxi driver

Tallahassee, FL – Tallahassee Police have arrested four people who are suspected of killing a yellow cab taxi driver over the weekend. Sascha Cordner has more.

The initial investigation revealed 29-year-old O-Bryan Brandy was shot two times at close range, after he had been dispatched to 1015 Idlewild Drive for a potential paying customer. TPD Spokesman David Northway says investigators later found a vehicle leading them to the four suspects:

FDLE urges safety for the Halloween holiday

Tallahassee, FL – Though Halloween falls on a Monday, many Florida residents may spend most of their time trick-or-treating over the weekend.
