October, which ends today, is not the only time of the year people with disabilities should be “officially” recognized. Harding; Maria Folsom, Leon County Coordinator for High School Hi-Tech with Ability First; Johnnie Slaton, president of the Tallahassee Chapter National Federation of the Blind; and Rachel Smith, communications director with Vocational Rehabilitation.
