Vines of Diversity: An Exploration of Black-Owned Wineries will take place on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 5:30-7:30 PM, in the Carriage House at Goodwood Museum & Gardens.

Tickets are $40 per person, but a two-person ticket pack can be purchased for $60.

As part of our 2024 NEA Big Read featuring Andrew Krivak's The Bear, the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library is proud to present an exhibition of local nature photographs taken throughout the Big Bend region. Local residents of all ages have submitted their photographs of our area's flora, fauna, and landscapes, and we welcome fellow residents and visitors alike to come see the different perspectives of our beautiful home. Wild Wonders: A Photographic Journey Through Florida's Big Bend will be on display at the Main Library from March 1-31, 2024.

Join the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library in celebrating the diverse expressions of love at this community art event for adults. Attendees can paint their very own mini canvas, selecting from a range of staff-provided Valentine's Day-themed ideas or letting their creativity run free with a personalized design. Our knowledgeable staff will be on hand to offer guidance on basic painting techniques as required, and all necessary supplies will be provided.
Registration is required and limited to adults over 18.

The LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library, in commemoration of National Youth Art Month and in partnership with the Leon County School System, presents Youth Art Month. This annual collection of work is by students from over 25 Leon County schools, grades Kindergarten through 5, recognizing their strong artistic achievements and dedication to art education. Please join us for this celebration of art and art education exhibits on display from March 1-31, 2024 at the Leroy Collins Leon County Public Main Library, 200 West Park Avenue.

The LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library is thrilled to present an exhibit of photographs captured by our very own library staff member, Savannah Cole. "Scenes of Silience" plays with light, architecture, and silhouette to celebrate quiet moments of brilliance at the library throughout the year. The sun rises and sets, seasons change, and we embrace each new day with dedication and passion for our work.

To view this display, please visit the 2nd floor of the Main Library between January 2nd and February 29th, 2024. 

An out-of-this-world rave for kids- this sWeEt symphony of fun will have little feet grooving to a lineup of kid artists and music from bOuNcY nursery rhymes to FuNkY kiddie pop! Baby shark will never sound better. So grab your glow sticks, put on your dancing shoes, and join us for a candy-coated adventure!

DJ Justice is a rad dad who will spin the tunes, Playlist from 3-4:30 will be for younger kids, 5-7 for older. Music appropriate for all ages.

Admission includes educational experiences provided by the STELLAR Challenger Learning Center, with quiet zones available.

Cost is $25 for one adult and child, $50 for a family (must have one parent per two children), and $200 gets your family VIP (water) bottle service with a table, chairs, and your family’s name on our Sculpture Project.
