Join the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System in welcoming local artist CJ Ellis! They will be exhibiting a collection of watercolor and acrylic paintings celebrating the natural beauty of the Florida coast and the Gulf of Mexico.

Artist biography: CJ Ellis has always been drawn to the immense storytelling capacity of images. They have been drawing for most of their life but only started painting a few years ago. In their eyes, painting is one of the most beautiful visual mediums to tell a story through because one can express both subject matter and feeling simultaneously.

This exhibit will be on display at the Eastside Branch Library from July 2nd through August 1st, 2024.
