The LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System is excited to host local budding artist Meredith Watkins! Meredith has created an eclectic assortment of quirky animals and people, carefully crafted in her own style on a mini Etch-A-Sketch. Each drawing is unique and, while temporary due to the medium, each piece has been captured by photographs to showcase her talent in perpetuity.

Artist biography: Meredith Watkins enjoys creating and sharing her artwork with everyone around her. She has a passion for art, animals, and her family and is driven by a love of all things. At only 9 years old, she excels at creating Etch-A-Sketch art in her own style. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Meredith lives with her parents, older brother, and two dogs. When she grows up, she wants to be an animal rescuer.

This exhibit will be on display at the Bruce J. Host Northeast Branch Library from July 2nd through 31st, 2024.
