Jase Wilson, a 14-year-oldfrom Tallahassee, was hanging out with friends during Florida A&M's homecoming festivities on Saturday evening when shots rang out around them.
Jase says he saw friends running in fear and was traumatized by the incident.
On Monday morning, a 15-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident.
The juvenile faces charges of attempted second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a delinquent.
"It was scary, but it was a fun night until that happened, and then I see everybody crying. I started to cry a little after I seen the bodies," Jase said.
His mother, Gina Wilson, said her son slept with her that night because he was so shaken.
"He went to play some basketball to try and shake off just that fear and clear his head," she said.
According to Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell, there are no reported deaths from the incident, but 12 victims have reported injuries including one person who sustained injuries while fleeing the scene.
"I thought somebody got shot next to me, but they just tripped. When I saw they were okay,I was really excited that they didn't get hurt because they were my friends," Jase said.
Police say the investigation remains open and active.
