The Tallahassee Museum outdoor stage area is truly the most gorgeous venue in town, and one of the few places fans can bring their families to hear live music. Plenty of tasty treats and frosty beverages will be available at the Trail Break Café and cash bar! Come on out and enjoy one of the Tallahassee Museum’s great concerts events! Guests are welcome to bring camp chairs and blankets.

The Museum’s Board of Trustees will serve up heaping helpings so come support the Museum at our longest on-grounds fundraiser!

After you fill up your stomach, make a weekend of visiting the Museum and stay for the Tallahassee Jazz and Blues Festival on Saturday and Sunday from 11-5 pm and enjoy wonderful live music on the Museum grounds!

Florida State University College of Law announces Mary Robinson, Ireland’s first female president, renowned climate justice advocate, and former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, as the 2025 Speaker of the D’Alemberte & Palmer Lecture in International Human Rights. Robinson will speak on "The Rule of Law in International Human Rights." This event is free and open to the public.

Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum proudly announces the 30th Annual Camp Gordon Johnston Day Veterans Parade on Saturday, March 8, 2025 starting at 10:45 am ET in Carrabelle, FL. This special event is planned to honor and celebrate our country’s remaining WWII veterans as well as recognize and salute all veterans from WWII to present. All veterans, their family, friends and the general public are invited to come to Carrabelle to join in this meaningful celebration of our military veterans. The museum needs the community’s participation and support to make this year’s event more special than ever for our veterans.

The Camp Gordon Johnston Parade pays tribute to all veterans of all branches of service. This community parade will feature vintage museum vehicles like the WWII DUKW, Willis Jeep, and German Lieferwagen as well as restored military vehicles from the Military Vehicle Preservation Association and Florida Military Vehicle Heritage Group. In addition, the parade will be joined by several veteran organizations, motorcycle groups, Shriners clubs, many businesses and community organizations. Military and police vehicles, golf carts, classic cars, patriotic walkers, and even some patriotic pets will wind through downtown Carrabelle along US Hwy 98.

Camp Gordon Johnston Museum invites everyone to participate in the parade and there is no cost to be in the parade. Participants do not need any military affiliation to participate, just an appreciation for veterans and the military. For best placement, sign up at https://www.campgordonjohnston.com/parade-entry-form/ by February 28, 2025. Participants who do not register are still encouraged to join.

Immediately following the parade will be the 6th Annual CGJ Dice Run as a much needed fundraiser for Camp Gordon Johnston Museum and American Legion Post 82. The Dice Run kicks off at Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum, 1873 Highway 98 West.

Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum will be open from 11 am to 5 pm. Guests are encouraged to come and learn the amazing stories of the region’s WWII heroes, see the remarkable artifacts. and hear about the vital role the Forgotten Coast played in WWII amphibious operations.
