Since first being elected in 1984, Willie Meggs has been the state attorney for Florida’s Second Judicial Circuit. Now, with retirement coming up fast and his hand-chosen successor also the pick of the voters, Meggs remembers some of his more interesting prosecutorial experiences and the many personalities he’s dealt with over these many years in office.
