In a year marking both America’s 250th anniversary and Thomasville’s 200th anniversary, Crate to Plate 2026 celebrates the people, places, and plates that define our community.

This beloved Thomasville History Center tradition highlights the flavors of the Red Hills region with a locally inspired dinner packed in a quality reusable crate/cooler. Each $200 crate serves two and includes a curated meal, wine, and special take-home additions.

Guests may pick up their crate to-go or enjoy the evening on the History Center grounds with live music, fellowship, open seating as available, and a cash bar. Advance orders are required, and quantities are limited.

Each crate supports the History Center’s work to preserve and share the stories of Thomasville, Thomas County, and the Red Hills region.

Legendary sound collage group Negativland and live cinema visual artist SUE-C collaborate to bring Tallahassee their latest audio-visual performance about our minds, our current realities, and the evolving forms of media and technology that orchestrate our perceptions: SIGNIFICANTLY LESS DECEPTIVE.

For more than four decades, Negativland has redefined experimental media through their culture-jamming practice, exposing the mechanics of misinformation and spectacle. Paired with SUE-C’s handmade real-time video, SIGNIFICANTLY LESS DECEPTIVE becomes a dense, multi-sensory investigation into how our brains and collective belief systems are shaped.

This is Negativland's first performance in Tallahassee ever, co-presented by Tallahassee Film Festival & Super Cool Awesome Music Services.

Four days. Dozens of songwriters. Some of the best little listening rooms, restaurants, bars, parks and waterfront spots on Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

Blast on the Bay returns October 15–18, 2026, for another unforgettable weekend of songs, stories and the people who wrote them.

Each October, songwriters from Nashville and beyond make their way to Port St. Joe for a festival that has become known for something increasingly hard to find: the chance to sit just a few feet away from incredibly talented writers and hear the stories behind the songs.

No giant arena. No seat three hundred yards from the stage.

At Blast on the Bay, you may find yourself sitting in a local pub, on a waterfront patio or under the Florida sky listening to a songwriter explain how a song came together — and then play the version that existed before the rest of the world ever heard it.

For 2026, we’re expecting around 40 songwriters and performers throughout the weekend, including returning Blast favorites and plenty of new faces making their first trip to the Forgotten Coast. This year’s confirmed lineup already includes Kendell Marvel, Tim Buppert, Jason Byrd, Brian White, Jesse Rice, Karen Waldrup, Jimmy Miller, Jeff Silvey, Lauren Spring, Lee Newton and many more — with additional artists still being announced.

Your Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to present Pinchas Zukerman—a living legend of the violin and viola, who dazzles audiences worldwide with his virtuosity, passion, and unmistakable musical voice. Elgar’s concerto—at times heroic, and others confessional—is the anchor of this epic evening. The concert will begin with Paul Ben-Haim's captivating First Symphony, known for its sweeping melodies and rich orchestral colors, which moves effortlessly between moments of dramatic intensity and serene reflection.

Get ready for another incredible evening at our 2nd Annual Songfest at The Hub at Feather Oaks! Much like last year, the event will begin with a dinner hour with food trucks, leading into an inspiring program where you'll have the opportunity to listen to a "songwriter's round" where local singer/songwriters will perform their songs and tell the stories behind them. Next you'll hear stories of empowerment from Girls on the Run participants and coaches. Our headliner will be revealed VERY SOON, and we cannot be more excited!

You won't want to miss this uplifting celebration and we hope to see you there!

Feline Advocates of Leon County (FALC) is excited to bring back our annual fundraiser, For Cats' Sake with a magical theme, The Enchanted Cat! For the festive season, we extend the option for everyone to dress in costume.

We will have live silent auctions, raffles, live artists painting on site, live jazz and other performances. Heavy appetizers catered by Jeri's and Bandit Beans, as well as a cash bar available.
