The Tallahassee Police Department says officers responded to a call on Monday night about a vehicle accident at the intersection of Apalachee Parkway and Capital Circle Southeast.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult who had been hit by a vehicle and was suffering from life threatening injuries. TPD says officers rendered aid until Emergency Medical Services arrived and the victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

TPD has yet to release any names, but says the driver of the vehicle, an adult male, remained on scene and is quote “cooperating with the investigation.”

As of today, no charges have been filed.
