On November 23, a new COVID-19 test site will open at the Panama City Beach Sports Park.

The site will offer free rapid COVID-19 tests by appointment. It can test up to 500 people per day and give results within 20 minutes. In a statement, Bay County Commission Chairman Robert Carroll says he’s seeing an uptick in the area’s coronavirus cases, and that he wants to make sure they’re doing all they can to curb the virus from spreading. The site’s hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. For more information to make an appointment, visit Bay County’s website.
