Last Of Escaped Wakulla Jail Inmates Found In Arizona, New Mexico

All three inmates who escaped the Wakulla County Jail In November have been captured.  The last two were found in Arizona and New Mexico.

Inmates Joel Cooper, Donald Cotterman and Casey Brandon escaped the Wakulla County Jail on November 17 through the ceiling of the jail’s law library.

Brandon was captured a few days later in North Carolina. Cooper and Cotterman remained on the loose. Thursday, the Wakulla Sheriffs office announced the two had been found.

Cooper was arrested by the Phoenix Police Department on March 2nd and booked into the Maricopa County Jail. Later in the day, the U.S. Marshall’s Service arrested Cotterman in a Las Cruces, New Mexico hotel room. Both men will be returned to the Wakulla County Jail.
