Perspectives: Mental Health

A significant part of the population faces mental health and substance abuse issues.  This discussion involves the changing attitudes of family, community and the criminal justice system when it comes to these issues, along with the challenge of providing more services to mitigate the problem.  Participants are: Miami Judge Steve Leifman; Executive Director of the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association Mark Fontaine; and Miaisha Mitchell, health educator and executive director of the Greater Frenchtown Revitalization Council.
