On the 23rd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act becoming law, there’s a growing awareness that age, accident or illness will affect most of us at some time in our lives. The panel argues it’s smart to plan for that eventuality when it comes to home construction and community redevelopment so more people can stay in their houses and neighborhoods for more of their lives. Taking part in the discussion: Advocate for people with disabilities J.R. Harding; Larry Baxter with the Florida Department of Elder Affairs; and Jack Levine, founder of 4Generations Institute.
