To most people, the debate over guns on campus is black and white and the battle lines are clear. But not for student activists on the front lines, where nuance is welcome and stereotypes are melting away.  Jim Ash has been following that story.

Florida’s troubled prison system is going through a bit of a revamp, as it also seeks to retain its correctional officers. As Sascha Cordner reports, as part of the Secretary’s latest endeavor, she’s trying to give the agency a new mission as well as a new logo.

A Circuit Court judge has agreed to consider whether to stop Florida's

first bear hunt in two decades.  As we hear from Amy Green with member station WMFE in Orlando, the hearing is scheduled for October 1st, weeks before the weeklong hunt of the animal that was removed from the threatened list in 2012.

Bloodhound handlers from law enforcement agencies across the state spent the past week in Havana, Florida.  Nick Evans reports the seminar aims at helping missing person teams improve their response.

Many Floridians are actually breaking the law without realizing it.  Regan McCarthy reports Florida lawmakers are working to remove some antiquated laws from the books such as the one that bans cohabitation.
