Every quarter, Hearth & Soul partners with a local artist to showcase their work and celebrate the talent within our community. The Hearth & Soul Artist Program features a variety of artists in a 3-month partnership throughout the year. This partnership includes an in-store gallery experience and a Sip & See event to highlight the artist's work and our collaboration.

Join us in celebrating Lily! Enjoy light bites, drinks, an interactive watercolor painting station, and the opportunity to view and shop her artwork.

Hearth & Soul loves to showcase our vendors and, whenever possible, bring the artisans themselves to our stores to share their stories with you in person. This month, we're excited to welcome Sophie from The Wild Goat Shop, featuring vintage rugs, and Yves Delorme, known for fine luxury linens, on September 18th.

Join us on the 18th for an exclusive first look, and then shop all day on the 19th! We can't wait to see you there. Be sure to bring your dimensions, color ideas, and inspiration photos so we can help you find the perfect piece!

Join us on September 19, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., at the Historic Capitol Museum to see artists Randelle Osceola (Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida), Wilson Bowers (Seminole Tribe of Florida), and Alyssa Osceola (Seminole Tribe of Florida) in action as they work on projects. It might be scary or full of delight, but you’ll never know until Zoobilee night… Join us from 7-10pm on October 25 for the Museum’s annual “fun” raiser, Zoobilee!

Featuring LIVE MUSIC from Tobacco Rd Band, DELICIOUS EATS from top-rated local restaurants, and an OPEN BAR! Proceeds from Zoobilee support the Museum’s education, preservation, and conservation services to our community. Costumes are encouraged. This year’s theme is “Witches & Warlocks.”

$50 in advance until 5 p.m. day of event, $55 at the door. $45 group rate tickets (10 tickets for $450) are available IN ADVANCE until 5 p.m. day of event. Tickets can be purchased on our website.

Artist’s Workshop with Leslie Cohen

Fabric artist Leslie Cohen invites you to join her in creating your very own sculptural quilted bird! This workshop is inspired by our main exhibition, Aviary: SAQA International Quilting, on display from September 20 through December 14. During the workshop, students will explore the techniques and creativity showcased in the exhibition

Did you know that Florida likely has as many as 8,000 historic cemeteries, but only a little over 2,000 are recorded in the Florida Master Site File, which is the state’s official inventory of historic sites? Join Patrisha L. Meyers-Gidusko, supervisor of the Department of State's newly-created Historic Cemeteries Program, to learn how the State of Florida is helping to locate, document, and protect these important historical resources.

The program is free and open to the public.

Create your own model of Florida’s Historic Capitol to take home and visit the Florida Historic Capitol Museum next door.
