Perspectives: A Month of Irish Celebration

The Tallahassee Irish Society returns its St. Patrick’s Day Festival to its traditional home at Midtown’s Lake Ella on Saturday, March 16.  Society President John Terrel presents a preview of the day-long gala.  Meanwhile, the Irish Repertory Theatre presents a series of performances of Irish playwright Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” at Tallahassee’s Goodwood Museum and Gardens.  The Theatre’s Jim McMurtry and Lanny Thomas discuss the play and its amazing relevance to modern American audiences, while Goodwood Co-Executive Director Dr. Nancy Morgan shares the latest developments at this historic Tallahassee treasure.
