The Florida State University men’s basketball team has been eliminated from the NCAA tournament, falling 58-54 to the Michigan Wolverines in a game that came down to a nail-biter in its final seconds.

Senior forward Phil Cofer led the Seminoles in rebounds and scored a team-high 16 points. But FSU was plagued by turnovers, allowing the Wolverines to hold a lead for most of the second half.

The Seminoles’ trip to the Elite Eight marks its third in program history.

Michigan advances to face Loyola-Chicago, an underdog looking to write its own Cinderella story, in the Final Four.
