Capital Report: 1-24-2020

Death Penalty watchers were thrown a loop recently after the Florida Supreme Court issued a ruling that could restart debate over capital punishment. Lynn Hatter reports the state’s high court says a unanimous jury is no longer needed to impose the death penalty.

Florida lawmakers say college athletes should get to reap of the benefits of their hard work. Several have floated plans this session dealing with athlete pay and compensation for the use of their name, image or likeness.
