The pre-pandemic nursing shortage was exacerbated by COVID-19. Even as more people are vaccinated, the need for nurses remains. Students in Tallahassee nursing programs already have jobs lined up as soon as they graduate, and area hospitals are begging for more. A shortage of instructors is one barrier to getting more nursing jobs filled.
