Sha'Tara Simmons
InternSha’Tara Simmons is a journalism student at Florida A&M University. Sha’Tara is currently a multimedia journalist and floor director for FAMU’s newscast, News 20 at 5 newscasts. She has written numerous stories on and off campus for FAMU’s newspaper, The FAMUAN. She has also performed live broadcasts and handle emergency inserts such as news updates, public service announcements, and campus alerts while compiling music selections for FAMU’s radio station, WANM 90.5. When she isn’t working on her craft, Sha’Tara spends her time watching tv and trying to master new languages.
