Jazzmin Sutherland
WFSU News InternJazzmin Sutherland is a senior broadcast journalism student at Florida A&M University and currently serves as a multimedia reporting intern with WFSU Public Media. She is passionate about storytelling that centers Black voices, community health, and cultural impact.
She has reported enterprise stories on topics such as the reproductive health crisis, fibroids, and wellness disparities affecting Black women. Jazzmin is also the host of Beyond the Charts Radio on WANM 90.5, where she interviews rising artists and covers trends in music, culture, and entertainment.
Her bylines include coverage for The Famuan and FAMU News 20 at Five, and she has produced two original podcasts: Close Friends Talk Show, focused on news and entertainment, and Your Legal Launchpad, a podcast created to bridge the gap between FAMU’s main campus and its College of Law in Orlando.
With experience in on-air hosting, digital content creation, and field reporting, Jazzmin brings a sharp editorial lens and a deep commitment to stories that inform, uplift, and inspire.
