Leon County will host the 29th Annual Volunteer Fire Truck Round-Up on Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tom Brown Park by the dog park near Lake Leon.

This FREE event highlights the service and dedication of Leon County’s volunteer firefighters by inviting the community to enjoy interactive touch-a-truck displays and meet the firefighters. The event will also include fun, family-friendly activities, including face painting, bounce houses, giveaways, and more!

At 11 a.m., we will announce the Jack Harron Volunteer of the Year for service above self. Chief Harron served 17 years as fire chief and helped create the annual Volunteer Fire Truck Round-Up.
