Amendment Proposals Collapse

Tallahassee, FL – Florida's November ballot will be shorter by three proposals, one that would have traded a huge property tax for other tax increases and two designed to expand school vouchers. Although the justices have yet to release an opinion, James Call reports they did express frustration with the way the proposals were written.

Florida Gov. Crist May Skip RNC

Tallahassee, FL – Governor Charlie Crist has long been talked up as a potential VP pick for Republican Senator John McCain, but those talks were squashed when McCain chose the governor of Alaska instead.

Crist is still scheduled to appear at the convention, but with all the turbulent weather floating around, Crist is expected to skip the celebration in St. Paul.

Ruling in Amendment 7 & 9 Lawsuit
