Back in the fall, several Tallahassee business people, former elected officials, along with public policy and budgeting experts, joined forces in opposition to the City of Tallahassee’s proposed 27% property tax increase. Ultimately, that effort was partially successful and now the group wants to be an ongoing force in helping craft the City’s fiscal priorities. Talking about this effort is former Tallahassee City Commissioner/Mayor and real estate company owner Penny Herman, along with local insurance executive Bobby Bacon.
