Saturday began the yearly "TOUR Guide" program, in which two Tallahassee attractions are showcased each weekend through the summer. The Tallahassee Museum had a world-famous wildlife expert to help pack in the visitors.
It's been more than a quarter-century since Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom has left the airwaves. But fans young and old were lining up to get show host Jim Fowler's autograph.
Museum Director Russell Daws says Fowler is an old friend.
“Thankfully, Jim and his group reached out and said he was going to be around and would we like him out on May 16th? Yes!!!!!”
Daws says Fowler plans to work with the local Museum on a number of projects promoting conversation and wildlife awareness.
