The Beatles: Every Little Thing
This series consists of five episodes encompassing the full group/solo catalog of the Beatles, drawing on music from over 100 albums, mixed with interesting themes, news, trivia/games, rarities and bonus features. Hosted by Ken Michaels, Every Little Thing takes a Beatles program as far as it can go, featuring all the Beatles' group and solo-recordings, rarities, imports, bonus tracks, cover versions, side projects, tribute songs, and music from family members. Every show includes a special thematic set, along with a mixture of familiar and deeper tracks from the entire Beatles catalog.
Episode one includes a thematic set of Beatles/solo Peace songs, plus a Beatles cover from the Smithereens, and music from the Beatles and Lennon Anthologies.
Episode Two includes a set of the Beatles' work with Eric Clapton, music from 2010 remasters, and a Beatle's son covers one of his Dad's songs!
Episode Three includes a Beatles "Home"-themed set, and Ringo Starr discussing songs from his 2010 album "Y Not” and a song that George Harrison produced for Badfinger.
Episode Four includes a "Songs Within Songs" set (songs with references to other Beatles songs in the lyrics,) plus a two-fer from a John Lennon collections and George Harrison discussing his first composition.
Episode Five showcases collaborations between Paul & Ringo from the Beatles' group and solo careers, and features a musical pair from 1974, a few demo recordings, and Paul McCartney helping out a member of Travis.
