Quinn Gray Sr. is Florida A&M University's new head football coach.
Gray was a record-setting quarterback for the FAMU Rattlers during his time in college, setting the record for passing yards (7,378), pass completions (562), and touchdown passes (57).
More recently, Gray served for three seasons as the head coach at the NCAA Division II school, Albany State University. This past year, Gray led the Golden Rams to one of the program’s best records, going 12-2 and winning the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title.
"I'm home! I am humbled and excited about the opportunity to lead this great program that is known to be the standard in HBCU football and the one that groomed me into the man that I am today," said Gray in a press release.
"While I understand the excitement that surrounds this situation, I also understand the timeline and the urgency to get to work and 'Restore the Strike,' to our proud institution," Greay continued. "I don't take this opportunity lightly because I know what it means to so many people. So, please understand that I'm #ALL-IN and I need Rattler Nation to be # ALL-IN as well!"
Gray inherits a Rattler team that went 5-7 in the 2025 season and missed out on a postseason bowl game.
