The "All Trails Lead to Leon County" art exhibit is on display on the second floor of the LeRoy Collins Main Library in downtown Tallahassee. One of the exhibitors, Courtney Saunders, painted a scene of a young lady running along one the county's many trails, with several happy wildlife companions scampering with her.

"I love to run! And there's moments when you run when you get that runner's high feeling. And I wanted to capture that happy moment on the canvas. And so this is that interpretation of that with the nature that's so often seen in Tallahassee."

Photographer Jean Hutchinson Smith's work is also included in the exhibit. Her mysterious photo of the Velda Mound north of Tallahassee is captured using infra-red imaging.

"I'm not about making pretty pictures. I'm trying to set a mood and get people to stop what they're doing and notice things that they pass every day and don't pay attention to. So it's about capturing time and preserving it for the viewer to come along and view a moment that's been grabbed out of the universe and preserved."

The "All Trails Lead to Leon County" exhibit is part of the runup to the World Athletics Cross Country Championships that will be in Tallahassee January 10th.
