If you can imagine an Elizabethan tragedy turned into an up-beat rock concert, you're already in tune with the latest staging from Tallahassee's Making Light Productions.
Making Light Executive Director Juliet Yaques said the story is somewhat related to "The Sixth Wives of Henry VIII," but there the similarity takes a sharp turn as the cast and supporting staff - all local high school students - take the story in a unique direction.

"The teens are incredible, we have a live band for this show so it is very much like a live concert. A great way to try a musical if you haven't tried one yet. The immersive, inclusive theater setting with people who have all sorts of different ways of thinking. It's amazing and I can't wait for everyone to see it!"

Making Light's performance of "Six: Teen Edition." happens at the company's South Blair Stone Road black box theater this Thursday through Sunday.
