Halisi Africa is an Afro-fusion restaurant that opened in Tallahassee back in 2019. Originally founded as a boutique, they pivoted to serving food over the pandemic, as a way of letting people taste the products they carried. This Friday, the restaurant will be featured on an upcoming episode of Food Networks “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.”.
Co-Owner Bryant Shaw talked with Speaking Of host Josh Johnson regarding their television appearance, “Ah man, it feels absolutely remarkable. And, Guy Fieri actually told us, and I’m not entirely sure that this is true, but he said that he thinks that we’re the first African restaurant to be featured on uh D,D,&D.”
The Episode airs this Friday, March 14th at 9pm Eastern (8pm Central) on the Food Network.
