The Florida State Seminoles are 1-9 for the season. But some are hopeful the team will have a chance to improve this week, as they face Charleston Southern for homecoming.
"Trying to keep speed, working on just overall elements of communication, execution and really having a big fundamental focus in regards to our growth and the development throughout that work," FSU head coach Norvell said during his Monday morning press conference.
It’s homecoming week for FSU and Norvell expects his team to have its best performance on Saturday, November 23, against a FCS opponent.
The Noles host Charleston Southern in a match that sports bettors predict will likely swing in FSU’s favor. Yet, Norvell says his team is still working hard in practice.
“Looking to play our best game here this week. We are going to put that on display. I thought yesterday was a good start to the week.”
Florida State is having its worst season in program history. But their opponent on Saturday has lost 10 straight games.
The Seminole Heritage Game is set to kick off at 1:30 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium.
