The winner will move on to the NCAA Singles Championship.

This week, the Florida State men's tennis team will be competing at the 2024 ITA Men's South Sectional Championships.

The event, hosted by Florida State at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center, will act as a national championship qualifying match.

The tournament will run from November 7-10.

Six players from FSU’s men’s tennis team will compete at the South Sectional Championship. Florida State’s Jamie Connel and Corey Craig are ranked as the highest seed in the tournament.

FSU will have home court advantage as the university will host its first ITA event since 2022.

The four semifinalists and two quarterfinal playoff winners from the singles competition will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship, which will be played at Baylor on Nov. 19-24.
