The No. 10 Florida State Seminoles (0-2) fell 28-13 in their home opener against Boston College (1-0) Monday evening.
The Eagles put on a clinic, holding the Seminoles to just one touchdown. Boston College rushed for 267 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns.
Monday was the first time the Eagles beat the Seminoles since 2017 and first at Doak Campbell Stadium since 2008.

FSU Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei completed 50% of his passes for 272 yards, threw for a touchdown, and an interception. Ja'Khi Douglas was FSU's top receiver with two catches for 44 yards.
Eagles quarterback Thomas Castellanos led his team to victory, throwing for 106 yards and scoring two touchdowns—both through the air and on the ground.

With the loss, Florida State now moves to 0-2 on the early season. The team looks to turn things around Saturday, Sept. 14, when they face the Memphis Tigers at home.
