Florida State University’s football team will be making a trip to Dublin, Ireland this Saturday, Aug. 24, as head coach Mike Norvell and his team will face Georgia Tech in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.
Florida State, the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference champs, will depart Wednesday. Coach Norvell says he’s more excited than ever.
“Very excited to be able to kick off the new college football season," Norvell said Sunday afternoon at a press conference.
"I am really proud of our guys, and all the work they’ve put in throughout the off-season program. I thought it was very productive,"
Coach Norvell led the Noles to a 13-1 record last season, highlighted by an ACC Championship title, the first for the program since 2014.
FSU is ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press Preseason Top 25 rankings. The Noles are one of four ACC teams ranked in the poll.
