Legends is a sports entertainment company.

Florida State University Athletics signed a 10-year contract on Wednesday with Legends to bring more media deals to the school’s athletics.

Michael Alford, the Vice President and Director of Athletics at Florida State said the collaboration will increase visibility to FSU’s athletics programs.

"Together we can capitalize on a limitless array of new opportunities for revenue streams while also maximizing our potential in established avenues as well," said Alford.

Legends, a "global premium experiences company," currently supports premium seating for the $260 million renovation of Doak Campbell Stadium and manages hospitality, including concessions, premium suites and clubs, and catering for FSU Athletics.

"They are creating more value for our overall program to help us support our student athletes," said Douglas Walker, FSU's Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Communication.

The partnership comes at a time when the University is trying to break its $429 million media rights deal with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and ESPN.

"The recent NCAA settlement has further emphasized the need for universities to explore innovative ways to optimize their commercial potential," said Mike Behan, President of Legends College.

"Legends is proud that FSU has entrusted our team to build on our partnership to capitalize on this opportunity and further solidify its position as a trailblazer in collegiate sports."
