Florida State University’s football team is back in full swing.
Spring practices start Tuesday and head coach Mike Norvell spoke with members of the media in the days leading up to preview the 2024 season.
He says last year’s team helped set the tone for the entire program.
“That '23 team had one shot, had one opportunity and I think they did a lot of great things," said Norvell. "Now you turn the page. From the minute we got back in January, our focus is to fight and get better.”

The Noles are coming off a perfect regular season. They also won the Atlantic Coast Conference title, however, were left out of the college football playoffs. That decision has led FSU’s Board of Trustees to get involved in a legal battle with the ACC over its media contract.
The Board is considering getting the school out of the conference and into another league with higher tv revenue. But, Norvell say his team must stay focused on the season ahead.
"It's not anything for our players to be concerned with," he said. "Right now it's about today, about the opportunity we have to go get better. It's an ever-changing landscape right now in college athletics."
The Noles will be in training for the next month, ending with the annual spring game on April 20th.
