A new indoor pickleball court is coming to Tallahassee

A new franchise concept will open its first location in Northwest Tallahassee.

Indoor Active Brands, a platform company that focuses on indoor entertainment concepts, announced Monday the launch of 'The Pickle Pad.'

The brand's first U.S. location will open in The brand has recently launched its franchising program and plans to open a new 27,000-square-foot facility in Tallahassee at 1925 North Monroe Street.

"Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the U.S.," said Mike Rotondo, CEO of Indoor Active Brands. "The appeal of this sport and configuration of our entertainment venue allows us to attract guests with various activities, in turn delivering franchisees several different revenue streams."

The Pickle Pad will feature six indoor pickleball courts, a full-service restaurant and bar, and green spaces for kids and adults.

The new facility will be in the plaza off N Monroe Street beside the Planet Fitness. It’s slated to open in Spring 2024.
