Leonard Hamilton says moving forward, his guys must find a way to finish the regular season off strong.

Florida State University’s men’s basketball team is coming off a crucial 90-83 victory over visiting North Carolina State.

On Tuesday, the Seminoles (15-13, 9-8) inched closer to a shot at the NCAA basketball tournament. FSU's Jamir Watkins led the team in scoring with 19 points to help defeat the Wolfpack.

“This team has been inconsistent," FSU head coach Leonard Hamilton said after the game. "We’ve had some good moments this year and we’ve had moments where we left a lot on the table."

The Noles have now won nine Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) games. Florida State will be traveling to Atlanta this Saturday to face Georgia Tech (12-16) at noon.

The Seminoles will need to win that game to move up the conference ladder and score a bid at the NCAA Tournament. Selection Sunday for March Madness 2024 is Sunday, March 17.
