The stage is set for tonight’s bout against two heavy hitters.

No. 1 Florida State women’s soccer (21-0-1) has a chance to make history tonight against the unbeaten No. 2 Stanford Cardinals (20-0-4) in what's the final round of the Women’s College Cup.

For the first time in NCAA Division I women’s soccer history, the national title game will feature two undefeated teams.

The Noles is making its seventh national title game appearance. A win tonight would put women’s soccer atop all other programs at FSU, for having the most national titles with four. The Lady Noles haven’t won the College Cup since 2021.

As for Stanford, they too are undefeated, riding a 20-game win streak. The Cardinals beat B-Y-U last week to advance to the final round of the College Cup. The No. 2 team has a chance to win their fourth national title as well as become the first unbeaten National Champion since 2011.

Monday night's game will be a rematch of the 2018 semifinal round when Florida State beat the Cardinals in the Women’s College Cup 2-0. The game will air on ESPNU and will take place at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. Kickoff begins at 6 p.m.
