Travis is being recognized as one of the best players in all of college football.

After suffering a season-ending leg injury in week 12, some thought that would be the end of Jordan Travis’ lengthy collegiate resume.

The Redshirt Senior led Florida State (12-0) to its best start in almost a decade. Many believe he was a candidate for the Heisman trophy before his injury. But the injury didn’t stop an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) voting panel on Wednesday from selecting him as the league’s Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year.

Travis joins a long line of former Noles’ to win the player of the year award, including Jameis Winston, Chris Weinke, and Charlie Ward, all of whom went on to win the Heisman trophy.

He responded to the honor on X, formerly known as Twitter saying:

"So blessed and honor. All Glory to God, and thank you to all my teammates/coaches."

Next, the injured quarterback be rooting on his teammates as they face Louisville in their sixth ACC title game. The championship will be held this Saturday in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kick off is set for 8pm
