Tallahassee police have announced an arrest in the murder of a FAMU administrator.

When Andre' Green didn’t show up for work last week, police say friends went to his home at the Rolling Hills Apartments on John Knox Road. They found his door slightly open, then they found Green dead.

Detectives say Green was stabbed, and evidence and witness statements helped them identify 30-year-old Benjamin Morgan Jr. as the suspect.

Police say Morgan and Green knew each other, and Green had recently taken steps to increase safety at his home. That includes buying a security camera an hour before his death.

Morgan was arrested for premeditated murder.

Green was 41. His funeral will be held this Saturday in Marianna.
