As a highschooler, Chandler Jackson was heavily scouted, receiving a dozen offers from universities like Alabama, Tennessee, and Auburn.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound guard earned a handful of minutes during his debut season with the Noles, averaging nearly 4 points a game on 40% shooting. He was on pace to become a full-time starter this upcoming season.
When asked what led to the suspension of such a prominent role player, FSU’s Deputy Director Chuck Walsh said that he has no clue, but the matter is being held between both Jackson and long-time head coach Leonard Hamilton.
FSU is coming off a 9-game winning season, the worst in the program’s history.
