Leon County's Leroy Collins Public Library has again "gone to seed." There are 10 varieties of vegetable seeds available free for patrons at the main library downtown.
The varieties include Arugula, Beets, Broccoli, Carrots, Collards and Kale, Lettuce, Parsley, Radishes and Swiss Chard. Patrons can choose any three to cultivate in their home gardens while supplies last. Saturday's seed kickoff also featured growing tips from master gardeners along with healthy cooking demonstrations.
