A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 2, for Fort Braden School principal and Leon County Commissioner Jimbo Jackson. He died early Saturday of complications from COVID-19, two years after contracting the virus.

A visitation will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday at Downtown Community Church on East Palmer Avenue, followed by the service at 11 A.M.

His obituary says gifts in memory of Jackson can be made to the Foundation for Leon County Schools. Click here for Jackson’s memorial fund.
