Tallahassee Community College is sharing more information about plans to open a charter school on campus in August. TCC will host an informational meeting at 6 p.m. in the Workforce Development Building.
The charter school will allow students to graduate with both an Associate in Science degree and a high school diploma, while gaining credentials in high-demand fields. The focus is on STEM fields such as cybersecurity, building automation, and healthcare programs.
TCC was one of five colleges in the state selected by Gov. Ron DeSantis to create a career and technical education charter school on its campus.
