Those with loved ones interred at the Tallahassee National Cemetery have spent the last few afternoons laying wreaths at their graves.

Wreaths Across America will be at the cemetery Saturday, Dec. 19 at 1:00pm, to honor veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths, saying the name of every veteran aloud, and laying any remaining wreaths.

Burial in a national cemetery is open to members of the armed forces who meet minimum active duty service requirements and were discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. A Veteran's spouse and certain family members may also be eligible for burial.
