New Partnership Between TCC And Lively Technical College Creates Career Pathways

Students at Lively Technical College can earn credit at no extra cost for three A.S. degree programs at TCC.

Tallahassee Community College (TCC) is partnering with Lively Technical College to boost career pathways.

The new agreement establishes an opportunity for Lively students to earn college credit toward an Associate of Science degree at TCC.

Lively students who meet eligibility requirements will earn college credit at TCC in Graphic and Web Design, Office Administration, and Digital Media associates degrees.

Students can earn from 9 to 12 credit hours for each degree program at no additional cost.

To be eligible, students must:

  • Successfully complete the technical program of study with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Successfully complete all applicable developmental classes (Students not requiring developmental classes will earn credit upon acceptance to TCC)
  • Have at least a 2.0 overall GPA if college credit courses have been completed
  • Complete the Lively Technical College program no more than 18 months prior to enrollment at Tallahassee Community College
