Voter Registration Deadline Approaches

With Election Day just around the corner, Leon County officials are reminding people the deadline to register to vote is next week.

The last day to register to vote in November’s midterm elections is Tuesday. Leon County Supervisor of Elections Mark Earley says there are a number of ways to sign up.

“You can stop by our office at 2990 Appalachee Parkway, the libraries have voter registration forms, many of the schools have voter registration forms, and there’s online voter registration," explains Earley. "It’s available at LeonVotes.org/OVR.”

Online registration requires a valid Florida license or ID card. Those interested in voting by mail can request mail-in ballots online through the end of the month.
