Boil Water Notice Remains In Effect For Some Bay County Residents
Some Springfield residents are under a precautionary boil water notice, due to a water main break at Russell Lane in Bay County.
Springfield officials say due to the break, the water quality could be affected and may include contaminants, like E-coli Bacteria. Symptoms of that may include diarrhea, cramps, and nausea.
So, residents living in the Cherry Hill area should be wary of using the water for drinking, cooking, making ice as well as washing dishes, brushing your teeth, and bathing.
Officials say any tap water used should be vigorously boiled first. The city is currently testing the water system for E-coli, and the boil water notice will remain in effect until further notice.
